About the Library
Camp Verde Community Library (CVCL) houses a collection of 30,000 books, magazines, audiobooks, DVDs, STEM Kits, and more. CVCL’s membership in Yavapai Library Network gives patrons access to over one million titles. The Network maintains an online catalog and a mobile app searchable from the library or any Internet connected computer or device. Library patrons can monitor their accounts, renew online, place material on hold, and pick it up at Camp Verde Community Library. Items not available in Yavapai County may be requested through Interlibrary loan.
Online services include a variety of research and informational databases, thousands of downloadable eBook titles, eMusic, eMovies, and free WiFi from inside and adjacent to the building. The library has 18 Internet connected computers, dozens of laptops available for checkout, WiFi hotspots and cellular tablets for checkout, 5 catalog computers for public use, 6 computers for Teens, and early literacy computers/tablets for preschoolers to learn computer skills.
Check the Library Calendar for a schedule of programs for preschoolers through adults, including computer classes, writing groups, reading clubs, health programs, one-on-one assistance with technology, special programs and more. Reference and readers advisory assistance is available by phone or in person.

Loan Periods
- Books: 21 days
- Laptops & Hotspots: 21 days, no holds allowed, no renewals
- Magazines: 7 days, limit of 5 issues at a time, no holds, no renewals
- Popular Books: 14 days, no holds allowed, no renewals
- STEM Kits: 21 days
- Media-Enhanced Picture Books: 21 days
- Audio/Visual: 21 days
- Interlibrary Loans: varies
Overdue Fines
- CVCL does not accrue fines on regular circulating materials
- Late fees accrue on electronic equipment at $5/day
- Network Loans: fines vary
- Interlibrary Loans: $1.00 per day
Renewals
Most items owned by our library will be auto-renewed when due if there is no Hold on the item.
Holds
When a Hold item arrives for you, you have 10 days to pick it up. You have the option to be notified of available Holds by email, through a text message to your smartphone, or you can call the library at 928-554-8380 and ask if your item is here.
